About Lone Star Mensa

Lone Star Mensa covers a wide geographical area including: Austin, Bastrop, Belton, Brenham, Bryan, Cedar Park, College Station, Gatesville, Georgetown, Hillsboro, Killeen, La Grange, Lampasas, Round Rock, San Marcos, Temple, Waco... and all the areas in-between!

Lone Star Mensa's mascot is the armadillo.

We are the local Mensa group in Central Texas affiliated with American Mensa Ltd. 

We are part of Region Six which encompasses Mensa groups in the Southwest region of the United States, including: Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Mensa is an international society with only one requirement for membership: a score in the top 2% of the population on a standardized IQ test.

Mensa serves to bring intelligent people together. Our members have diverse backgrounds, occupations, ages and interests.
